About the Photographer

Jim Johnson is a commercial photographer based in Denver, Colorado with a B.S. in journalism and 34 years of professional experience. He shoots a variety of corporate, architectural, product, and industrial imagery. A licensed pilot since 1979, he also flies and shoots aerials from airplanes and helicopters.

Jim first became interested in photography in the 9th grade. It has since been a life-long passion.

Experienced in both studio and location work, Jim has traveled and shot assignments in more than six hundred cities throughout the U.S. He is very knowledgeable about the logistics of travel and location photography and available for assignment anywhere.

In addition to commercial digital photography, Jim Johnson also makes fine art images with an 8x10 camera using B&W film, producing silver prints in the darkroom.
